Plaxis 3D Tunnel 1.2 Windows
Plaxis 3D Tunnel is a 3D deformation and stability analysis program for geotechnical engineering using the finite element method, especially for underground tunnels, such as water supply tunnels, and subway tunnels.
Geotechnical applications require advanced constitutive models for the simulation of the non-linear, time-dependent, and anisotropic behavior of soils and rock. In addition, since soil is a multi-phase material, special procedures are required to deal with hydrostatic and non-hydrostatic pore pressures in the soil. Although the modeling of the soil itself is an important issue, many tunnel projects involve the modeling of structures and the interaction between the structures and the soil.
